My topic of coursework
My topic is How to assess the impact of research.
Strongest/weakest pillars and an example of being information literate
Our team's weakest pillars are Indentify, Plan, Management and Present, our strongest pillars are Scope, Gather and Evaluate. The reasons are listed below.
Scope
Understand which information we need.
Familliar with the search engines.
Be able to use library resources deftly.
Gather
Effiently use search engines and databases and print resources in library.
Keep abreast of the ups and downs of new information through web browsing.
Share information with partners by face-to-face interaction, email, or chatting online.
Evaluate
Choose appropriate key words to search information online.
Chosse various indexs whith the help of technical tools, e.g. EXCEL, to assess the information resopuces as well as the data collected.
An example of being information literate
Once I was an employee working for customer service. I was responsible to collect the data of customers frequently asked questions. After collecting the data through searching the records in the database of our company and communicating with the agents, I gathered the questions and use Excle to analyze the data with several indexes working out some diagrames like pivot tables.
At last, I chose the most valuable quetions and come up with the solutions after assessment.

Legal and ethical use
There are some implications for our poster. Those 7 dwarves possess quite different characters. Their names are Doctor, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy, Dopey, and Grumpy. Though they are not relative with 7 pillars, we chose them because they are so lovely. Besides, the fairy tale 'Snow White and seven dwarves' left us a deep impression in our childhood.

short time.

Developing

Understand how to think like a local people
according to the organization culture.

information universe
When I was studying Computer Science in China, I had to look for a lot of information in order to learn about programming. All teacher taught us was mainly about C++, and we have to learn other programming language like VB, Java etc. by ourselves. Then I have to try my best to look for useful information I need. Before learning the language, I could use Google or Baidu to have a general concept in mind and then look for the online courses related. As long as I met with problems, I can search the problem that I met with and perhaps someone else had already answered similar similar questions before. As a result, I can make reference to them. In addition, if the answers were not satisfied, I can write them down and post them in Baidu Zhidao and someone may help you soon.
